"All We Got Iz Us"
Verovatno svima dobro poznata grupa. Onyx su počeli sa radom još 1988. godine objavivši singl "Ah, And We Do It Like This", da bi iz pomoć Jam Master Jay-a 1993. godine objavili veoma uspešan debi album "Bacdafucup". 1995. godine, usledio je njihov drugi album pod nazivom "All We Got Iz Us", koji nije uspeo da dostigne komercijalni uspeh svog prethodnika ali koji dobija odlične kritike. Lično, ovo mi je omiljeni Onix-ov album pre svega zbog sjane stvari "Last Dayz".

"That's Them"
Drugi album grupe Artifacts pod nazivom "That's Them" objavljen je 1997. godine i ujedno je označio kraj saradnje El Da Sensei-ja i Tame One-a koji su se nakon toga posvetili sopstvenim solo karijerama. Što se samog albuma tiče, u pitanju je sasvim solidno izdanje koje ipak nije uspelo da ponovi uspeh njegovog prethodnika. Pogledajte spot za prvi singl "The Ultimate".

Ohmega Watts je Hip Hop producent i reper koji je slično kao i K-Murdock odrastao pod velikim uticaje A Tribe Called Quest-a kao i cele Native Tongues ekipe. Karijeru je započeo objavljivanjem singla "A Request" a 2004. godine usledio je još jedan singl pod nazivom "That Sound" koji je predstavljao najavu onoga što će se desiti godinu dana kasnije. Konačno, 2005. godine objavljen je njegov sjajni debi album "The Find" u izdanju kuće Ubiquity Records.

Bloodwars Magazine
Bloodwars magazine je, kako sami kažu, časopis posvećen crtačima grafita, ljubiteljima ulice i svima ostalima. To je jedan od projekata koje je pokrenuo grafički umetnik i dizajner Stephen Faustina. Magazin se objavljuje u elektronskoj formi i izlazi kvartalno, a namera mu je da otkrije različite stilove i forme uličnog bombinga. Sama koncepcija je takva da svako može preuzeti časopis potpuno besplatno, štampati ga ili ga deliti na neki drugi način. Ja ću dati svoj doprinos tako što ću vam predstaviti prvi broj (objavljen u januaru 2003. godine), a vi obratite pažnju na ostale brojeve (do danas je objavljeno 28 brojeva iz prve edicije i tri iz druge, a poslednji u januaru 2009. godine). Topla preporuka za sve ljubitelje ulične umetnosti.

Singl sa albuma "19 Naughty III" pod nazivom "Written On Ya Kitten". Svako ko je slušao radio emisiju "Geto" sigurno se seća ove stvari čiji je instrumental poslužio kao jedna od muzičkih podloga u istoj. Samo da napomenem da je u pitanju remix, koji po mom mišljenju zvuči mnogo bolje od originalne verzije. Pored nje na B strani se nalazi i pesma "Klickow - Klickow" na kojoj gostuju Rottin Razkals, Road Dawgs i The Cruddy Click.

Ovaj album je uz Blu & Exile-ov "Below The Heavens" definitivno potvrda da je underground scena zapadne obale nepresušni izvor talenata. Fashawn je prošle godine, tačnije 22. oktobra 2009. objavio svoj fenomenalni debi album pod nazivom "Boy Meets World" koji je producirao već pominjani Exile. Od gostujućih izvođača pored ostalih pojavili su se Blu, Planet Asia i Evidence. Album možete preuzeti i preslušati ovde, ali ako ste u mogućnosti obavezno ga kupite. U trenutku kada sam shvatio da ovaj blog dobija sve širu internacionalnu čitalačku publiku, a s' obzirom da su postovi na srpskom, odlučio sam da postavim translating widget sa namerom da zainteresovanima omogućim da u određenom smislu razumeju njihov sadržaj. Koliko sam u tome uspeo ne znam (oni koji su probali mogli bi ostaviti komentar kao povratnu informaciju). Ipak, nadam se da to ne izgleda kao na sledećem primeru. Internet blog "Kentish Town Paint And Panel" je napravio mali eksperiment sa prevodom Ice Cube-ove pesme "It Was A Good Day" na japanski, a zatim, sa japanskog ponovo na engleski. "Penalty Recordings Mix Tape"
Ovo sam skoro pronašao na netu a u pitanju je promo mix tape koji je DJ Premier uradio za izdavačku kuću Penalty Records koja je, ako se ne varam, te 1995. godine počinjala sa svojim radom. Inače, ovo je skinuto sa kasete (kvalitet je dosta dobar) i predstavlja veoma zanimljivo izdanje za sve ljubitelje Hip Hop zvuka iz devedesetih godina.

"I Got Next"
KRS-One-ov treći po redu solo album "I Got Next" iz 1997. godine, ujedno i njegov najuspešniji album do danas. Od zapaženijih gostujućih izvođača tu su Redman i Angie Martinez, dok su za produkciju, između ostalih, bili zaduženi Showbiz, DJ Muggs i Sean "Puffy" Combs. Album je u velikoj meri obeležio singl "Step Into A World (Rapture's Delight)" u kojoj će starije generacije prepoznati stvar "Rapture" grupe Blondie. Pored nje moj veliki favorit je "A Friend" (instrumental je jednostavno vau!). Uživajte.

"The Hurra"
Hurricane je Hip Hop DJ, producent i reper, između ostalog poznat po saradnji sa Run D.M.C.-jem (bio im je bodigard!!!), Beastie Boys-ima, Solo Sounds i The Afros (A Funky Rhythmic Organization Of Sounds). Solo debi imao je sa albumom pod nazivom "The Hurra" iz 1995. godine. Do danas je objavio tri studijska albuma, a ovom prilikom osvrnuću se na njegov debi album sa kojim sam se i upoznao sa njegovim muzičkim opusom. Pre svega u pitanju je singl "Elbow Room" gde je evidentan uticaj Beastie Boys-a koji su mu pored Sen Dog-a i MC Breed-a ujedno i gosti na albumu sa dve pesme "For Fly Guys" i "Stick 'Em Up" koja se pojavila i na soundtrack-u za film "CB4".

Guru je u komi nakon srčanog udara
Jedan od najuticajnijih MC-jeva i bivši član Gang Starr-a Keith "Guru" Elam je u komi nakon srčanog udara koji je doživeo u nedelju, a kako prenose različiti izvori nalazi se u kritičnom stanju što je njegov prijatelj i partner iz Gang Starr-a DJ Premier potvrdio u radio emisiji "Hip Hop Nation". Najnovija informacija je da se trenutno nalazi u jednoj New York-škoj bolnici gde čeka na operaciju koja je zakazana za danas popodne.U svoje ime, ali i u ime svih čitalaca "Keep It Real"-a, poželeo bih mu sve najbolje uz nadu da će pobediti u borbi za život. Guru, izdrži, svi smo uz tebe.
Poslednja vest na dan 2.3.2010.: Kako saznajemo iz izvora bliskih reperu a kako prenose mediji, operacija je uspešno izvršena i očekuje se Guru-ov potpuni oporavak.
"Nocturnal"
Još jedna grupa iz Boot Camp Click porodice. Heltah Skeltah je duo u sastavu Rock (Tha Rockness Monstah) i Ruck (Sean Price), koji su svoj debi imali na Smif-N-Wessun-ovom albumu "Dah Shinin'", a svoj solo debi ostvarili su sa albumom "Nocturnal" iz 1996. godine (3 1/2 mikrofona u The Source-u). Sa ovog izdanja ostali su zapamćeni singlovi, pre svih "Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka" na kome su udružili snage sa O.G.C-jem, oformivši tako grupu Fab 5, kao i "Operation Lock Down" koju je producirao E-Swift iz The Alkaholiks-a.
